About Ad-Apt

Portland's AI-native
growth agency.

Marketing, technology, and operations for businesses that need to move a number. Thirteen years building paid media, SEO, analytics, infrastructure, apps, portals, and automation for clients ranging from local-service businesses to enterprise teams.

Whatever makes the business perform.

Businesses don't have single-discipline problems. They have a number they're trying to move and a stack to do it in. So our work spans whatever the situation actually requires: Circle K's BigQuery analytics warehouse and the Cloud SQL → Looker Studio BI stack that powers CleanFreak and Rainstorm reporting; the custom React customer portal integrated with the in-bay POS; the iOS and Android apps for both car wash brands; Netflix's Griselda QR-scan RSVP page; TGR's Google Cloud infrastructure and large-media hosting; Mint's CRM blueprints and lifecycle automations. And the paid media, SEO, content, and analytics programs running alongside.

Marketing is part of it. Infrastructure, apps, portals, and automation are equally part of it. Performance ties them together — every engagement starts by asking what "performing" looks like for the client, then we pull whatever levers get there.

AI agents now run inside the delivery — site builds, content production, analytics audits, paid-media iteration — turning what used to be two-week cycles into hours. It isn't a service line. It's how the work gets done.

The two words

Performance is the philosophy.
Adapt is the methodology.

Two words run through every engagement. They aren't slogans — they're the operating system.

Pillar 01 — Performance

The outcome is the deliverable.

We don't sell marketing or tech. We sell the result — more visitors, better conversion, faster operations, more leads answered, more customers retained. Every engagement starts by asking what "performing" looks like for the client, then pulls whatever levers get there. A growth problem and an infrastructure problem can both be Ad-Apt problems, because performance is the only word that ties them together.

Pillar 02 — Adapt

Follow the data, the channel, and the stack.

The brand name is a verb. The ad that adapts. The strategy that adapts. The business that adapts. It's the commitment to following whatever's strongest right now — not the commitment to any one tactic. In 2026 the highest expression of "adapt" is AI-native execution: agents that observe and adjust, pipelines that retune themselves, delivery loops measured in hours instead of weeks.

The team

Senior leadership.
Built-it-before operators.

Ad-Apt is run out of Portland by a tight senior team — engineering, content, design, paid media, project management, and creative direction under one roof. Every inbound is read by a strategist, not a BDR. Every engagement is staffed by people who've shipped the thing before.

Leadership

Lucas Sommer

CEO · Creative Director

Lucas runs the company and leads creative direction across the agency. He's also one of three engineers driving Ad-Apt's AI delivery stack — building the agents, pipelines, and edge-native systems that turn weeks of work into hours — and the engineer behind Onit, our productized AI website delivery system for SMBs.

Leadership

Bryan Lozano

VP of Strategy · AI Engineering

Bryan owns strategy across paid media, analytics, and account leadership on the largest engagements — including Circle K's car wash division, where Ad-Apt operates the BigQuery analytics warehouse, the BI pipeline, and the growth programs at national scale. He also writes a meaningful share of Ad-Apt's AI infrastructure: the agent system, the migration pipeline, and the production tooling that runs both client work and Onit.

Leadership

Chase Bradley-West

Director of Engineering · AI Engineering

Chase leads engineering across the agency and is the third engineer on Ad-Apt's AI delivery stack. He owns the production-grade pieces that keep client systems running — analytics pipelines, custom React applications, mobile app delivery, and the integration layer that ties the AI delivery loop into the rest of the operation.

How we build

Stack-appropriate.
Not stack-dogmatic.

"We build edge-native sites on Cloudflare Workers, cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud, custom applications in React, and mobile apps for iOS and Android. The stack follows the problem, not the other way around."

Edge & web

Cloudflare Workers

Server-rendered HTML, sub-50ms loads, KV + D1 + R2. ad-apt.com itself runs on it.

Cloud & data

Google Cloud + BigQuery

Warehouse, Cloud SQL, Looker Studio. The BI layer for analytics-heavy enterprise clients.

Apps & portals

React + iOS/Android

Custom customer portals, third-party POS integrations, native mobile apps for both stores.

AI & agents

Anthropic API

The agents inside the work — site builds, content, audits, paid-media iteration. Production, not pilots.
