About the Client:

When Halem Heights came to us, it’s owners had plants in the ground, a vision for a successful, family-built and family-run winery, and a ton of hope. They asked Ad-Apt to help make their dream a reality and create a long-term marketing strategy to get them there. We weren’t asked to “make a website” or “design a logo.” We were tasked with literally getting their business off the ground, creating buzz, and serving as a true partner on a strategic path to success.

Who is Halem Heights?

The Challenges:

Halem Heights had a lot of business and marketing challenges to address. On the design side, it needed a logo, brand guidelines, a label design, and a website. It needed to purchase and implement a software to power its wine club.

The Solutions:

Given Halem Heights needed everything from soup to nuts, ad-apt put the correct team and resources together to solve for EVERYTHING. A series of solutions were presented and rolled out over the course of 12 months taking this client from seed stage through fruition (pun intended).

  • Design: After interviews, fact-finding and discovery, the Ad-Apt team produced a logo design, brand guidelines, product labels and a website – completely capturing the essence of the Halem Heights vision and what they witnessed at its physical operation.
  • Development: After a thorough selection process, VinoShipper.com was selected as the software for the wine club. Ad-Apt established the account, populated its information and connected it to the fulfillment center.
  • Content Marketing: Mailchimp was used as the email marketing vendor of choice and several templates were prepared to service the email marketing needs of the brand. In addition, sales sheets and collateral – following the newly created brand guidelines – were prepared to help the client solicit distribution and retail partnerships.
  • Production: To facilitate online engagement, and to give the brand the media assets it needed, a product photography session was executed to help tell the story. To unlock the video-sharing sites, and to give the brand a competitive advantage over other wine brands, an upscale video was produced for the 2018 vintage release. Ad-Apt also produced several top-of-funnel informational videos on vineyard practices, including its sustainable approach to its crops and wine-making.

The Results:

Halem Heights went from idea stage to a full-fledged business operation in under 12 months. Ad-Aapt set in motion and flawlessly implemented a robust marketing plan. Just as the business planted, nurtured and grew its vines, Ad-Apt built, molded, and executed a successful marketing strategy.
